Welcome to the Fort Hunter Liggett
iSportsman Hunting and Fishing Portal
THIS SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE
TRANSITION UPDATE: 28 DEC 2017
BEGINNING 1 JAN 2018,
THE FHL FISHING PROGRAM WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
From January through March, Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) has a heavy military training schedule, with hunting and fishing opportunities being extremely limited to none over that time. As such, FHL is delaying the opening of the 2018 FHL Fishing Program and the start of its new iSportsman system.
The Fishing Program will continue to remain closed until the military training calendar diminishes, which is expected in late-March.
During these three months when hunting opportunities are available,
THE 2017/18 FHL HUNTING SEASON WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN OPEN
and operated though MWR’s HuntTrac system, as usual.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Continue to check back at this website for the latest program information.
Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) is transitioning our Hunting and Fishing Program from the HuntTrac system run by Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare & Recreation, Outdoor Recreation to the iSportsman system to be operated by the Directorate of Public Works, Environmental Division.
iSportsman (iSportsman.net) is a web-based system used at more than 35 Department of Defense facilities to manage recreational hunting and fishing. FHL iSportsman is accessible by computer or smart-phone. Hunters and anglers will be able to use iSportsman to purchase FHL permits, check-in and -out of hunting areas and fishing reservoirs, report game harvested or fish caught, and more. California license, tags and stamp requirements, bag limits, and seasons will not be affected.
For hunting, we will begin selling 2018/19 FHL Hunting Permits through FHL iSportsman April 2018, once the 2018/19 California Hunting licenses become available. Mandatory FHL iSportsman check-in and check-out for hunters will begin on July 1, 2018, at the start of the 2018/19 California Hunting season. Annual Hunting Permits expire each year on June 30th.
For transition updates periodically check back at this website:
Please do not register, create accounts, or attempt to purchase permits
on the FHL iSportsman website at this time!
Your information will be lost, requiring you to register again.
